Another Honor for Marc!

Jacobs to receive a Pratt Institute Legends 2009 honor on October 29

(NEW YORK) Marc Jacobs has experienced a 2009 full of honors. After co-hosting the Costume Institute Gala in May, the designer for both Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton will be accorded one of Pratt Institute's Legends 2009 awards. At the October 29th benefit at 7 World Trade Center, Jacobs will be honored alongside musician, writer and artist Patti Smith as well as architect and designer David Rockwell. Pratt president Thomas F. schutte and board of trustees chair Mike Pratt will co-host the event, while Kurt Anderson, Amy Cappellazzo and Marjorie Kuhn will co-chair.
